Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structural Technician to perform classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft. This role involves service extensions, depot level maintenance, and other C/D level heavy checks on airframes including U-28 (Pilatus PC-12), C-147 (DHC-8 / Dash 8), C-146 (Dornier 328), C-145 (M-28 Skytruck), and A-29 (Super Tucano).

Responsibilities

• Perform classified heavy modifications on fixed-wing military aircraft
• Conduct service extensions and depot level maintenance
• Execute C/D level heavy checks
• Adhere to all safety and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion

• Must own tools and have a shadowed toolbox with tools etched or colored by Day 1
• Stable job history
• Pass a sheet metal test on Day One (pay bump to $45 if scored well)
• 6+ years of aviation structures (sheet metal) experience if only military experience, 3+ years if any civilian experience
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled FAA regulated hangar. The position involves flexible shifts, with 75 of the workforce on 1st/day shift and 25 on 2nd/swing shift. No weekend work is required, but flexibility for 2nd shift may be needed. Overtime is regularly available but not guaranteed every week.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00
