Position: Aircraft Structures Technician
Location: Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience:2 years commercial heavy jet experience in MRO setting
- Will accept: 2 years military experience on acceptable aircraft
- Will accept: Equal mix of commercial heavy jet and helos
- Will accept: Equal mix of commercial heavy jet and regional jets
- Will accept: Equal mix of military acceptable jet and regional jets
- Will accept: Equal mix of military acceptable jet and helos
- Must have thorough working knowledge of all forms and documents required to support heavy maintenance service, including, but not limited to Company policy and procedure manuals, FARs, ADs, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
- Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
- Must have an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous material handling and disposal as related to the job assignment.
- Must be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge
Technical:
Restore or repair defects using unique aircraft fastening hardware, composite materials, chemicals, adhesives, paints, and textiles.
Manufacture aircraft equipment, components or replacement items from base metals using special cutting tools and milling machines.
Fabricate and repair aircraft structures using composite, fiberglass, textiles, leather, plastic, and synthetic components.
Ensure that all maintenance operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot aircrafts structural systems to identify problems and adjust/repair the defects according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.
Perform and document scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance as dictated by the manufacturer,

Requirements:
3 or more years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician
Ability to follow written and verbal directions with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.
Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail.
Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.
