We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Teardown Mechanic to join our team. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for removing commercial aircraft parts from various types of retired aircraft, ensuring industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:
1. Locate, verify, and mechanically remove when approved aircraft parts from aircraft.
2. Clean, write identification tags, and wrap parts removed.
3. Follow procedures for an established work flow.
4. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to cleanliness standards and proper tool storage practices.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures, including those outlined by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
6. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and maximize efficiency.
7. Participate in training programs to stay current with advancements in maintenance techniques.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed if applicable.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control, safety, and professional conduct.
10. Provide fresh ideas to improve the work flow and facility
