Job Description:
Position Purpose: Independently perform various aircraft modifications and maintenance tasks, including removal and installation of airframes, landing gear, engine components, electrical components, and control systems, ensuring conformance with procedures, performance, and test specifications.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3 years of experience working on mid/large size
aircraft.
• Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring tasks are
completed within quoted or standard CMP time.
• Provide direction to assigned technicians, promoting high standards of quality through instruction and by
setting an example.
• Act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) in their absence, assuming all duties and responsibilities when
assigned.
• Coordinate with the Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and
documentation requirements.
• Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and paperwork in a timely manner, ensuring all work meets
quality standards.
• Properly identify and store customer property and equipment securely.
• Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment such as
power supply, hydraulic rigs, nitrogen filler carts, and oxygen service carts. Supervise the use of special
support equipment for major component removal and installations.
• Coordinate aircraft movements as required.
• Assist in training new employees in CMP maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations,
and maintenance of major components.
• Coordinate with other departments to arrange overhaul or repair of customer property as needed.

Additional Functions:
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand and charge labor to correct work orders and item
numbers.
• Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep work areas clean and uncluttered.
• Properly collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags.
• Implement Lean/continuous improvement processes in all areas of responsibility.
• Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment, returning items to designated storage
areas after use.
• Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
• Advanced understanding of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins,
structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, etc.).
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control
manuals, and company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
