Position Summary:

This Aircraft Technician will report to the DOM. The aircraft technician will be responsible for completing aircraft arrival and departure inspections, service checks. etc. This position requires the technician to display a professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Must possess adequate knowledge of Corporate Aircraft and be familiar with the Bombardier Challenger Line of Aircraft. This challenging position is key to providing TSC Operation with the same exceptional service they are accustomed to wherever their aircraft end up.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Perform arrival and departure inspections on corporate aviation aircraft.
• Perform maintenance on a variety of aircraft configurations.
• Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to include inspections, repair, and servicing of aircraft.
• Perform maintenance IAW with FAA-approved technical data and Tri-State GMM guidelines.
• Perform overnight checks and maintenance of Shuttle aircraft depending on the schedule.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Maintenance shop cleanup, organization, and basic office duties.
• Accurately complete all appropriate maintenance, work orders, and RTS paperwork.
• Review and ensure all required entries into the aircraft electronic computer systems IAW GMM requirements.
• Operate and maintain company truck
• Track and maintain Tri-State spare parts on the truck. (Wheels etc.)
• Any additional task directed by the DOM, Asst. DO

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have an A&P certification
• Must have at least (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Must be flexible and ready for changes in schedules and plans.
• The ability to adhere to strict time schedules, attendance policies, and appearance standards is non-negotiable.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license.
• Must have a current passport.
• Must have own tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to be willing to work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear when required.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and ground equipment
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Must regularly be able to lift up to 70 pounds
