Job Title: Aircraft TechnicianJob Description
Working on a variety of General Aviation (GA) and Private jets, including some turboprop aircraft. The role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs, conducting routine, phase, and hourly inspections, and correcting discrepancies and pilot-reported squawks. The technician must demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to all regulations set forth by the FAA and 145 Certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on GA and Private jets.
- Conduct routine, phase, and hourly inspections.
- Correct discrepancies and pilot-reported squawks.
- Ensure compliance with FAA and 145 Certification regulations.
Essential Skills- Aircraft maintenance experience
- A&P certification
- Specific aircraft experience or at least 2 years of military experience if no A&P certification
Work EnvironmentWork is conducted in a very clean hanger, which can get colder in the winter. The facility has been recently remodeled and looks brand new. Occasionally, weekend work may be required but is not frequent. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The company is expanding into other Hangers, which are also very clean. Business is very busy, and leads can earn $40.00/hr or higher, while entry-level positions start at around $25-28/hr.
