In the role of Assembler II, youll play a pivotal part on our production team.

This position contributes to our vision by:
•tThis position requires performing routine and repetitive electronic assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment.
•tAssembles and solder electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
•tThe employee will use basic electronic assembly tools, instruments and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies.
•tThe employee will also use standard electronic assembly hand tools, common power tools and continuity test equipment such as ohm meters.
•tThe employee will prepare wires for assembly measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and soldering equipment.
•tThe employee will apply and handle conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives.
•tThe employee will perform less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment.
•tThe employee will work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.
•tThe employee will keep their assigned work area organized and clean and will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•\tThe employee must have excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
•\tThe employee must be proficient in soldering small wires, parts and components.
•\tThe employee must be proficient with computers.
•\tThe employee must be proficient with all basic hand tools, ohm meters and basic power tools.
•\tThe employee must be proficient with soldering and de-soldering equipment.
•\tThe employee must have experience and training to IPC-J-STD-001 (Requirement for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
•\tThe employee must have experience and training to IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
•\tThe employee must have experience and training to IPC-A-620 (Requirements & Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).
•\tThe employee must have the ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
•\tThe employee must have the ability to deal with standard tolerancing (allowances, limits and fits) and perform advanced math calculations.
•\tThe employee must have a complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware as it relates to rivets, screws and bolts (NAS, MS, An, etc.).
•\tThis position requires a minimum of 5 years work experience in a production environment or equivalent business environment.
