Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a motivated and experienced Conformal Coat Lead with a strong background in conformal coating applications for circuit card assemblies.

Successful candidates must be strong communicators (both written and verbal) and willing to take initiative. As a Conformal Coat Lead, you will assist the manager/supervisor in developing strategies to meet production requirements while ensuring key performance targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will work closely with the manufacturing team daily, helping to maintain efficient and high-quality conformal coating operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate goals, priorities, and overtime needs to the team.
• Address moderate technical questions, system-related issues, and general manufacturing quality concerns.
• Oversee the masking, application, and curing processes to ensure proper conformal coating coverage and quality.
• Inspect conformal-coated assemblies to verify compliance with specifications, performing rework as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of conformal coating materials, including maintaining environmental and safety standards.
• Act as a mentor within the area, supporting cross-training efforts to build team versatility.
• Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of inspection experience in a conformal coating or circuit card manufacturing environment.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
• 3+ years of experience in conformal coating or circuit card assembly.
• A strong understanding of conformal coating processes, including masking, application, curing, and inspection.
• The ability to follow written instructions, interpret work instructions, and read assembly drawings accurately.
• Experience working independently while effectively communicating with team members, support staff, and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to use a computer for team communication and documentation.
• A working knowledge of process sheets, prints, and route cards related to conformal coating and circuit card manufacturing.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $43170 - $69073

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
