Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. The ideal candidate will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools and jigs. You will also make continuity checks on work in process and completed, and may conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Additionally, you may disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts.
• Use hand and/or power tools and jigs.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

• Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Entry-level candidates with some mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing will be considered.

Work Environment

Our work environment features a Monday to Thursday 4x10 schedule on the 1st shift. You will be working with advanced technologies and equipment in a setting that values safety and teamwork.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, Florida.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
