Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $25.76 - $27.83 per hour
Join PDS Tech Commercial in the Aerospace IndustryPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Assembler to support electrical wiring and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies in aerospace manufacturing. This role involves working on wiring harnesses, panel/box circuit breaker assemblies, and wiring for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub-assemblies, with a focus on electrical wiring and electro-mechanical components.
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly.
- Adapt to changing manufacturing schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient production and continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Follow Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
- Occasional travel to other facilities may be required.
QualificationsRequired:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
- 1+ years of experience working with precision measuring tools.
- 1+ years of experience in fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems.
- 1+ years of experience with machine shop processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:- IPC 620 certification.
- J-STD 001 certification.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and aerospace industry standards.

Pay Details: $25.76 to $27.83 per hour
