Summary:
Visually inspect solder joints and conformal coatings on circuit card assemblies following IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
Use inspection methods, drawings, and checklists along with measuring devices (micrometers, dial indicators, scales) to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry specifications.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions with attention to detail.
Inspect surface mount and plated through-hole components for quality.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of manufacturing to address quality defects.
Ensure accuracy and quality of work in alignment with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
Proficient with Personal Computers and documentation tools.
Team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
