Assure the quality of all entrusted products. Evaluate and determine best practices to improve quality processes while assuring safety, ISO 9001, AS9100, and other required standards are maintained during all operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and provide guidance on performing mechanical and electrical inspections
• Construct files for maintenance of quality data
• Conduct process audits
• Identify problems affecting calibration of hand tools and measuring devices
• Identify packaging, preservation, and shipping processes to assure compliance to contractual requirements
• Assist in performing process and procedure analysis
• Monitor and provide feedback to promote self-inspection program
• Perform documentation duties with the use of a computer, maintaining a paperless manufacturing environment
• Must be at assigned worksite during assigned hours 100 of the time, less PTO, FML/STD/LTD

• Experience with PCB, electronics assembly, circuit card, avionics, crimper, work instruction, schematic, wire diagram, hand tools, electronics manufacturing quality, soldering, IPC 610 & IPC 620, quality inspection, ITC-A-610, ITC-A-620, ITCA610, ITCA620
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, electrical inspections, mechanical inspection, quality auditing, inspection, blueprint, calipers, micrometre, quality control, micrometer, quality assurance, aerospace, final inspection, CMM, visual inspection
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as an inspector of electronic equipment and/or mechanical parts
• Experience working in an ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or other quality standard environments
• Ability to understand MIL-STD-/ANSI Z540-1 calibration systems and ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-A610, IPC-A-620 production environments

• Military/Defense quality environment experience

Work Environment

Production environment with the ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Tasks may involve repetitive motion such as keyboarding and using small hand tools. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Requires 20/20 vision and color vision with or without corrective lenses. Work schedule is 9/80 with 1st shift hours, offering every other Friday off.
