KIT Helicopter Operations is Idaho’s premier helicopter operator. Providing service throughout the mountain regions of Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and Colorado. KIT Heli Ops is a group of seasoned helicopter professionals that have cultivated a culture of safety, professionalism, quality, teamwork and we have a good time while doing it!
This position will primarily be to staff a Bell 407HP in field conditions while on USFS contract. This is a full time year round position looking for permanent hire.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Perform preflight inspections with pilot
- Perform any scheduled/unscheduled or preventative maintenance on the aircraft
- Perform aircraft fueling operations, to include rapid or “hot” refueling
- Use proper maintenance manuals/ICA’s and other publications to complete work
- Document all work performed in company digital tracking software (ModernHawk)
- Track and maintain parts inventory in field support vehicle
- Coordinate with DOM if special tooling/parts or a hangar is needed in the field
- Perform daily fuel sampling and weekly/monthly inspections the of fuel service vehicle in the field
- Operate fuel service vehicle in accordance with all applicable DOT, state/federal regulations and company policies
- Ensure company equipment, aircraft, fuel trucks, and trailer are all clean and maintain a professional appearance
