If you are a seasoned aircraft inspection leader looking for a new challenge, we have an opportunity for you! As Chief Inspector, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and directing inspection standards, methods, and procedures for multiple, larger, more-complex Part 145 Repair Station operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations (FAA, EASA, DCM, etc.), all environmental health and safety policies/procedures, and manufacturers requirements. Youll certify aircraft airworthiness after inspection by signing aircraft releases and ensuring that all inspections, regarding scheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications and/or component changes are performed accurately and will ensure that approved equipment and materials are being utilized while high standards of workmanship are being attained.Salary & Benefits:
- 4 – day work week, (minimum 40 hours a week)

Qualifications You Must Have:
- B.A. (or equivalent degree) - a higher level degree may substitute for relevant experience
- Typically, 10+ years of progressive aviation experience, which includes 5+ years of aircraft inspection experience.
- Ability to understand and interpret complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Comprehensive understanding of troubleshooting techniques
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation
- Advanced experience and knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts
- Proficiency in audit and inspection processes and procedures
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Previous experience with Corridor
- Experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, Traxall, Cescom, etc.)
- Previous experience with heavy repair and modification of both metallic and composite structures
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
