Lead and manage the inspection team, ensuring FAA compliance.
Train, mentor, and evaluate inspection staff for quality and professional growth.
Coordinate inspection schedules and optimize workflow efficiency.
Conduct thorough aircraft and maintenance procedure inspections.
Review and approve maintenance documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to improve inspection procedures.
Investigate discrepancies, incidents, and accidents, providing reports and corrective actions.
Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and technology advancements.
Participate in internal audits and support FAA inspections.
Perform other duties as needed to support team and repair station operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Proficiency with inspection tools and maintenance tracking software.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong leadership and communication skills for team collaboration.
Knowledge of aviation safety practices and regulatory compliance.
Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) and Inspection Authorization (IA) certifications.
Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or inspection role (Part 145 preferred).
Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces.
