Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services •
This position's primary responsibility is to determine and prioritize the flow of the aircraft while in heavy maintenance. Position will review routine and non routine maintenance tasks to be performed and prioritize the tasks into planned milestones. Position will also work with maintenance supervisor to properly stage the tasks for all shifts and skills for the next 24, 48 and 72 hours. Position will review man hours available versus needed each day and communicates the requirements to production. In addition position will monitor tasks that require customer approval to ensure timely approval.
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•3 years experience working as an A & P technician in a shop, line, or heavy maintenance environment with an Associate's degree OR 5 years experience working as an A & P technician in a shop, line or heavy maintenance environment OR 5 years working as a work controller, repair controller, support function in aircraft maintenance not limited to planning, reliability, engineering, maintenance programs, aircraft records, etc.
•Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations
•Proven ability to work with others in stressful situations
•Proficiency in the use of WINGS system and in the use of Microsoft Office.
•Demonstrate a proven ability to prioritize the flow of the aircraft while in heavy maintenance
•Ability to stoop, bend, and crawl as required
•Standing for long periods of time
•Occasional lifting or various weights
•Climbing stairs and ladders
Preferred Skills:•A and/or P License
•Previous heavy maintenance experience
