Overview: An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Fitter to join an improving team within the Calibration & Maintenance Department. This will involve working in an autonomous capacity, maintaining process and plant equipment. The work is extremely varied, challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine planned preventative maintenance and repair activities of plant and process equipment (CCA process equipment experience desirable).
• PAT testing across the manufacturing site.
• ESD (electro-static discharge) testing and inspection.
Skillset/experience required:
The successful Electrical Maintenance Fitter will have the following skills and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the role:
• Formal technical engineering/ craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
• Formal further education certificate to ONC or equivalent.
• City & Guilds in Electrical Studies Parts 2 & 3 desirable.
• Good IT skills, knowledge of SAP an advantage.
• IET Code of Practice for In-Service inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment
• Ability Interrogate drawings during fault finding activities.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
