JMC Aviation has an exciting opportunity for Aircraft Engine Technicians to work with a global leader in the aviation industry based in Wichita, KS.
This would be a temp-to-perm position with a competitive hourly rate, a signing bonus, and great benefits. Duties within the role are as follows:
- Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, for example, Thrust Reversers (TR), Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), and Hot Section Inspection (HSI) in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals.
- Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines, and accessories.
- Disassemble, inspect and reassemble aircraft engines.
- Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in the operation of ground support equipment (GSE), for example, ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.
A successful Engine Technician would have the following
- Valid A&P License
- 3 years experience in Aircraft Turbine Engine Maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
