JOB TITLE: Final Line Mechanic I

Summary:
Perform complex structural and aircraft installations, repairs, and rework.
Manage parts and documentation in assigned workstations.
Assist and train team members in interpreting blueprints and engineering orders.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain workflow.
Ensure installation quality and efficiency; address discrepancies and perform necessary repairs.
Utilize various tools and equipment for component installation.
Troubleshoot mechanical and structural issues.
Maintain logs, records, and documentation (MIR sheets, DMTs, PCOs, etc.).
Plan and organize workloads and resource requirements as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to FOD, 5S, and safety regulations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in aircraft certification and final phase testing, including flight tests if required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to solve dimensional problems using mathematical formulas (fractions, decimals, whole numbers).
Proficiency in using measuring devices within specified tolerances.
Production Quality training required.
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Skilled in close-tolerance work, including drilling, reaming, and ship fitting.
Experience operating hydraulic mule pumps, tools, fixtures, and jigs.
Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
