POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs inspections of flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
  • Inspects pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and documents faulty components.
  • Conducts pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification actions.
  • Resolves identified problems during the operation and testing of deliverable products.
  • Verifies the accuracy of work performed.
  • Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
  • Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities with the assistance of the lead. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Good communication skills

Job Requirements:

If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Bending
  • Climbing Ladders (max height of 6 ft)
  • Fitting in a confined space
  • On their feet for multiple hours a day

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Willing and able to work any shift including days, nights, and weekends
  • FAA Airframe & Power Plant license or the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate
  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 787 Program Experience
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
  • Airline / MRO / Overhaul experience
  • Experience with computing & operating systems
  • A&P license preferred

EDUCATION:

  • Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED)
  • Typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate +2 years related work, Bachelor's, etc.).

FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT

  • WORK HOURS: 1ST: 6:00 AM -2:30 PM
  • 2ND: 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
  • 3RD: 10:30 PM 6:00 AM
  • CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ANY SHIFT.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.

Salary Range: $37.64-$47.45
