Our client, a prominent 141/61 flight training provider in Erie, Pennsylvania, is seeking an Inspection Authorization (IA) certified Aircraft Mechanic to join their team. This growth-oriented company partners with multiple local colleges, universities, and high schools to grow the aviation industry in Northwestern Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio, while maintaining award-winning service and training for their students.
The IA Aircraft Mechanic position requires a high level of knowledge regarding the maintenance of general aviation aircraft and the ability to work with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will be proficient in small GA piston aircraft, primarily Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Piper Tomahawk, and Piper Arrow. This position will oversee a team of 2-3 Maintenance Technicians.
The IA Aircraft Mechanic will also provide professional aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards.
