Helicopter Mechanic

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on R-44 and AS350B2 helicopters.
Troubleshoot airframe, engine, electrical, and avionics systems to ensure operational readiness.
Perform engine and component removals, replacements, and modifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer service bulletins (SBs), airworthiness directives (ADs), and FAA regulations.
Utilize maintenance manuals, technical data, and diagnostic tools for repairs and troubleshooting.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Coordinate with pilots, operations staff, and management regarding aircraft status and maintenance schedules.
Travel as needed for remote maintenance support.

Job Requirements:

Active A&P or IA Certificate
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance
Proficiency with hand tools and avionics systems
Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations
Experience in equipment repair and assembly
Ability to perform root cause analysis and utilize precision measuring instruments
