Inspector - Recieving

Contract Position

$17.50-$22.50/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment for accuracy and quality.
• Use computer-based systems to enter transactions, validate records, and maintain inventory databases.
• Examine shipments for completeness against invoices, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
• Identify and reject damaged, excess, or misdirected goods, coordinating with purchasing and vendors for resolution.
• Route approved materials to inspection, storage, or production areas.
• Operate material-handling equipment to move incoming shipments as needed.
• Respond to inquiries regarding rejected or pending materials and support resolution efforts.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required (no Bachelors degree required).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in an inspection or manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer proficiency (all tasks are completed digitally).
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production inspection.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with microscopes and printed wire board inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
