Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:

Performs visual inspection of solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies per IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

Follows inspection instructions, drawings, and checklists using measuring tools (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, and scales) to verify compliance with manufacturing and industry specs.

Requirements:

2 4 years of relevant inspection experience; proficiency in IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD, measuring tools, and visual inspection

Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting solder joints (SMT and PTH) and PWB coating to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards

Prior IPC-610 and J-STD inspection experience must be clearly detailed in the resume

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, parts lists, and work instructions

Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and computer proficiency

Effective verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented

Ability to address quality issues diplomatically across manufacturing teams

Candidates must pass a medical exam (per supplier guidelines)

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
