Integration Technician III ( Merritt Island, FL) subassembly
3417 - B shift Mon - Thurs  5pm - 5am  $46.20
3418 - C shift Fri - Sun   5am - 5pm   $46.62
3419 - D shift Fri - Sun  5pm - 5am  $48.30 

setting up equipment, troubleshooting, repair, integration of the hardware, light material handling 
HANDS ON HARDWARE, PRECISION TOOLING, torque wrenches, tool control, past industry 
sub assembly, clean room assembly, tool assembly, INTEGRATED mechanic role, tool control, 
expertise in hand tools and procedures to document the work, torque wrench - lots of use! 
following documentation is a must have!  Team = 20 people  OT for all shifts. assembly & integration! 
B shift is mandatory OT but C&D shift is voluntary OT,  possible conversion based on performance
Technologies: beyond basic computer skills, calibrated tools or specialized tools, able to use powered 
tools as well,  AMP certified technician or Aerospace background is a MUST!!  
boom lifts, calibrated various tools, work with other teams, overall flow of work centers, must be able to 
lift heavy items up to 35 - 50 pounds, climbing ladders, DO NOT BE LATE, low drama workplace. 
Level 3 roles (5+ experience) structures background is fine but sub-assembly is the primary!
prior military is a big PLUS, clean room techs is a benefit, very strict on years of experience! 

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures.
  • Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
  • Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
  • Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
  • Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
  • Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
  • Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
  • Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

 Qualifications:

  • 5+years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
  • Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
  • Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person.
  • Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
  • Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts.
  • Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

 Desired:

  • Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
  • Proven success as a “hands-on” technical leader
  • Work optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities

  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
  • Military experience

you meet the torque call out?

commodoties and systems have you worth with: hydraulics, pneumatics,
gaseous pressure systems, Krytox applications?
