Job Title: Lead A&P MechanicJob Description
Our client at the Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport is currently looking for a Lead A&P Mechanic who is willing to move into the DOM role by January 2025. The company is a GA shop and operates as a 135 operator, focusing on King Air, Piper, and Cessna models.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough 100-hour inspections.
- Perform heavy maintenance, aircraft repair, and phase maintenance.
- Work on various aircraft models including King Air, Piper, and Cessna.
- Operate in both hangar environments and on the ramp for AOG situations.
- Utilize your own tools for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Be open to working overtime as needed.
Essential Skills- A&P License
- 5-10+ years of experience as an A&P Mechanic, preferably from a GA or P135 Charter
- Experience with 100-hour inspections
- Proficiency in aviation maintenance, general aviation, and aircraft maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications- IA (Inspection Authorization) preferred
- Experience with aircraft models such as Challenger, Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, and Honda Jet
- Skills in engine repair, airframe maintenance, and aircraft repair
