Lead Aircraft Structures Mechanic – Gilbert, Arizona
Job Description:
This position is for Airside MRO, a subsidiary of KP Aviation. This company is a 145-repair shop for components in Gilbert, AZ.
- Lead and perform regular maintenance on aircraft structural components, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with Airside MRO, Federal, and OSHA regulations.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of records for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and examinations of various structural components, identifying cracks, corrosion, defects, or wear, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Consult maintenance manuals and specifications to ensure all repairs and replacements follow correct operational procedures and meet required safety and performance standards.
- Supervise and perform the installation of new parts, ensuring that all replacements or repairs of structural components are done to specifications and improve performance.
- Oversee sheet metal repairs, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of aircraft components while maintaining precision in all tasks.
Pay:
- $34-$42 per hour based on experience
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday 7/8am - 4/5pm
- 40-hour work week, OT based on business needs
Additional Details:
- Contract to hire, generally hired direct around 6 months but exact timeline dictated by attitude & performance.
- A&P license required for leads, non leads do not require it.
- No tools required.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00
