Job Description:
STS Aviation Services, a leading MRO provider in the UK, is looking to add a Line & Light Base Maintenance Planner to its growing team in Birmingham. If you’re passionate about aviation and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you! Join us in supporting our Operations Team by processing work packages and ensuring timely, efficient maintenance planning for aircraft and engines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer work packages and integrate them into our company system for maintenance use.
  • Ensure all relevant maintenance data, drawings, and documents are attached to the work package.
  • Collaborate with PART-145 Production Planning to identify key milestones, including parts and tooling requirements.
  • Liaise with resource teams to ensure adequate manpower for workload completion.
  • Manage third-party requirements such as NDT, aircraft reweighs, and exterior cleaning.
  • Identify and schedule safety-critical tasks, including CDCCL and EWIS inspections.
  • Perform a full audit of completed paperwork and return packages to customers within SLA guidelines.
  • Support Line/Base Check Managers during maintenance inputs and attend daily operational meetings.
  • Chair Pre-Input meetings for Light Base Maintenance projects.
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace sector.
  • Experience in PART-145 and PART-M Planning environments is preferred.
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance regulatory requirements.
