Air Wisconsin Airlines is excited to offer up to $15,000 in bonuses for any new Maintenance Controllers!


The Maintenance Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating all contingency maintenance during flight operations.  The Maintenance Controller will coordinates maintenance activities with other departments to ensure flight safety and minimize operational interruptions.


Job Duties:

  • Controls contingency maintenance activity during flight operations and utilizes both company and non-company maintenance personnel to provide required maintenance services.
  • Coordinates maintenance operational issues with Dispatch and Flight Operations.
  • Coordinates daily maintenance scheduling and workload planning.
  • Administers and controls use of Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL) to ensure flight safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepares Special Flight Permits (Ferry flights).
  • Maintains maintenance control-log and initiates Mechanical Reliability Reports (MRR’s) and Mechanical Interruption Summary (MIS) reports.
  • Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • FAA Airframe and PowerPlant license.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows and Office software.
  • Strong communication skills (Phone, email, in person).Strong trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high stress environment.
  • Good judgement and ability to work independently when required


Preferred Experience:

  • Associates degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or Maintenance. Equivalent knowledge and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a FAR Part 121 Air Carrier operation.
  • Previous Maintenance Control Experience.Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.CRJ-200 experience.
