As a Maintenance Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment and machinery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and maximizing equipment uptime. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Industrial Automation business.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, and youll work out of our Danville, KY location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining the physical integrity of property and equipment
- Maintaining and repairing CNC and manual machines
- Understanding of lock out / tag out procedures
- Understanding and knowledge of general maintenance; mechanical, electrical, and machinery
- Participating in inventory control of essential maintenance materials including spare parts of critical equipment
- Reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Maintaining, installing, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and mechanical equipment
- Completing work orders and inspections as defined in preventative maintenance (PM) programs

YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of job-related experience such as CNC Maintenance, Powder/Paint Maintenance or Fiber Optic Laser system.
- Facility and/or equipment maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools (power and pneumatic)
- Must be available to work overtime as needed, including weekends
- Entering, recording, or maintaining information in written or electronic form
- Maintain a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

- High school diploma or equivalent; Prefer Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently
- Bending, reaching, climbing three to six step ladders
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material moving equipment
- Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish machines / tools and operate machines and tools
