Summary:

Evaluate materials, components, or systems using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods without causing damage.

Utilize techniques such as liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, thermography, shearography, eddy current, ultrasonic, and radiography to ensure parts and processes meet engineering requirements.

Set up and standardize NDI equipment, process parts, interpret results, and document findings.

Establish techniques from approved procedures for final approval and perform system performance checks.

Guide and supervise trainees, perform audit surveillance on NDT processes, and document non-conformances.

Interpret codes, standards, and documents controlling NDT methods.

Assume technical responsibility for NDT facility, equipment, and staff; verify and approve procedures.

Provide training, examination, and certification of personnel.

Requirements:

Focus on Ultrasonic Testing (A-Scan and Thickness).

Must have NAS-410 Certification and proof of UT hours (signed off by a Level III NDI).

Level I and Level II training certifications plus 800+ hours of Ultrasonic Testing.

Experience with Graphite Composites in Aerospace.

Must be prepared to complete General Exam on Day 1 and Specific/Practical Exams in the first week.
