Job Description:

Tasks

As a NDT Inspector Junior, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting in performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection, including visual, ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle and penetrant testing.
  • Preparing and maintaining NDT equipment and materials. 
  • Documenting and reporting inspection results accurately. 
  • Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations during inspection activities. 
  • Participating in training to enhance technical knowledge and achieve certifications. 
  • Ensuring the equipment, tools, and premises in your charge are maintained to satisfactory standards and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both inside and outside the company. 
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines 
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and managing inventory. 

Requirements

The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or technical degree in engineering or related fields
  • Commitment to obtain personal NDT certifications
  • Basic knowledge of NDT methods and principles is a plus
  • Previous experience as an NDT inspector with or without EN4179 or EN9712 qualification is a plus
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures and/or metalworking is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and customer orientation
  • Maintain a flexible and proactive work approach in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Willingness to work shifts and during nights/weekends/bank holidays on rotation
  • Excellent spoken & written English is essential
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Italy
  • Must be able to work and travel within and outside the EU
