POSITION: Part-time Academic Instructor (Aviation Maintenance Technology)
LOCATION: NDSCS – Fargo, North Dakota
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include teaching courses for the AMT program that meet FAA Part 147 Certification.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS
- Hold FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Flexibility to meet the needs of students
- Willingness to teach students with varying levels of ability
- Able and willing to keep current in the field
- Willingness to teach distance education as future needs arise
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate in Applied Science degree
- Experience in the following areas:
- Writing operations manuals
- Equipment acquisition
- Learning Management Systems
Additional Information:
HOURLY RATE: $42.93/hour (current NDSCS adjunct pay rate)
