Position ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Control Inspector ensures all maintenance work, including documentation, is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data. This position is also responsible for preliminary, routine, and in-process inspections on aircraft and components to determine serviceability and airworthiness. Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
*High School Diploma or GED - required
*FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License - required
* GenFAM B737, NextGen, A320- required
*Experience on B737, B767, Airbus, NextGen
*Minimum of three (3) years of recent heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Manager’s discretion.
*Minimum of three (3) years of recent aircraft component maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Manager’s discretion.
*Familiar with inspection tools, aids, and devices used in determining tolerances, specifications, and progress.
*Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
*Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation accurately.
*Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
*Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of personnel.
*Ability to learn airline customer RII requirements.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work a variety of shift schedules and shift hours.
*NDI and previous QC experience (preferred).
*Prior leadership experience (preferred). Job Duties
*Performs incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft or components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer’s manuals.
*Ensures documentation of maintenance performed is completed as required by FAR’s, ATS’ Repair Station
*Manual and customer’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
*Completes final buy-back of maintenance performed.
*Performs in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, and rigs.
*Performs return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337 as authorized by ATS and airlines.
*Documents on-the-job training (OJT) and experience for inclusion into the training file.
*Performs audit of ATS facilities for FAR and safety regulation compliance.
*Monitors compliance with scrap bin policy.
*Be available on the floor to provide oversight, guidance, and assistance.
*Regular and predictable attendance.
*Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.

*While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; talk or hear, and focus on objects close up.
*The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
*The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
*The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to high.
*May occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
