Job Description:
Inspect aircraft, engines and auxiliary power units both on the hangar floor and a back-shop environment. Ensure maintenance practices are in conformance wit h FAA regulations.
Fill in for the Chief Inspector when necessary. Communicate with customers to satisfy their RTS and compliance requirements.
Primary Duties
- Provide inspection forms, technical data and any other information necessary to perform inspections
- Ensure technicians are using calibrated equipment in applicable situations
- Verify the status of technical publications being used
- Perform logbook research
- Audit and close work orders
- Inspect engines and components prior to RTS
- Ensure work orders are up to date and contain the proper documentation
- Prepare log book entries and form8130s
Minimum Qualifications;
- A&P certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred experience;
- Proficient MSOffice skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
