Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionYou will be working solo and be customer-facing, performing source inspections for the installation of various aircraft components. Most inspections will be visual inspections to confirm the correct installation and performance of various parts, ranging from aircraft interiors such as cabinets to aerospace compartments for rockets. You will need to be familiar with GD&T and CMM. Travel throughout North Carolina and occasionally to South Carolina, Georgia, and possibly other worksites will be required. Mileage and travel costs will be reimbursed. You will be using basic inspection tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections to confirm the correct installation and performance of various parts.
- Conduct source inspections for the installation of aircraft components.
- Utilize basic inspection tools for quality checks.
- Travel to various worksites throughout North Carolina, and occasionally to South Carolina, Georgia, and other locations.
- Ensure adherence to GD&T and CMM standards.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with CMM.
- Proficiency in GD&T.
- Experience with aerospace standards.
- Experience using calibrated inspection tools.
- AS9100 experience.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in quality control and quality assurance.
- Experience in aircraft inspection.
- Blueprint reading skills.

Work Environment
1st Shift: Mon-Fri; 6AM – 2:30PM. You will be working inside various aerospace and aviation environments. Must be comfortable with traveling.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00
