As a Quality Inspector, you will be assisting the Chief Inspector and Quality Manager in returning aircraft turboprop engines and engine components back to service during routine inspections and repairs. Additionally, you will be assisting the Chief Inspector and Quality Manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining procedures to adhere to the appropriate aviation regulatory standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Research aircraft turboprop engine maintenance records and compile work scopes.
- Inspect aircraft turboprop engines and engine components during the maintenance, repair, and overhaul process.
- With some to limited supervision, return aircraft engines and engine components to service by completing all required documentation once the work has been completed.
- With some to limited supervision, prepare various documents required by Company policy and FAA regulations. Demonstrates proficiency in Turbine Standard work order system by completing corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD), and compliance statements.
- Assist in obtaining EASA Safety Management System certification and AS9100 Certification.
- Assist in designing and implementing various training programs.
- Locate and use appropriate technical data, follow verbal instructions, and accept directions from supervisor when accomplishing assigned tasks.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
