Summary:
Visually inspect solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
Use microscopes and measuring tools (dial indicators, micrometers, scales) to assess quality.
Review and interpret instructions, drawings, checklists, and IPC standards.
Identify and document quality defects, ensuring compliance with manufacturing specifications.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Requirements:
2+ years of solder/visual inspection experience or 3+ years in electronic assembly/soldering.
1+ year of conformal coating experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents.
Proficiency in IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
Computer skills and ability to navigate documentation systems.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
