Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to conduct physical quality checks of stringer programs that are manufactured and distributed to customers for the creation of various airframes. The role involves using precision measurement tools to ensure all parts meet stringent quality standards before shipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical quality checks of stringer programs using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and protractors.
- Measure parts to precise specifications, accurate to a fraction of an inch.
- Perform quality checks on every part of the stringer program as the final stage in the production process prior to shipment.
- Utilize blueprints to ensure parts match written schematics and work orders.
- Document quality checks using Microsoft Word and track parts using Excel.
- Collaborate with the quality lead to ensure 100 duplicate checks for an undisclosed amount of time.
Essential Skills- Experience in quality inspection in a regulated industry such as aerospace, medical device, pharmaceutical, or automotive.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and protractors.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Machine shop experience is preferred.
- Blueprint reading skills are preferred.
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDaT) experience is a plus.
- Candidates with basic quality experience in a production setting will also be considered.

Work Environment
The role is based in a non-climate-controlled facility, working on the production floor alongside production technicians. The team currently comprises 9 people, with a goal of expanding to 12. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with mandatory overtime. The team is currently working 50 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional hours after shift or on Saturday mornings from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates will be highly directed in their tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
