Are you ready to take your expertise in aerospace quality assurance to new heights? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Dulles, VA. This is a temporary contract position where youll play a key role in ensuring top-notch quality for aviation components and assemblies.

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll be an integral part of the team responsible for performing inspections, monitoring compliance with stringent airworthiness standards, and supporting continuous quality improvement. You’ll help keep operations running smoothly at a state-of-the-art facility, just minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Material Inspections (75): Conduct inspections of aerospace materials to ensure compliance with FAA/EASA/TCCA standards and customer requirements. Issue discrepancy reports, manage non-conforming materials, and collaborate with the Quality Department to maintain calibration and documentation standards.
Records Traceability (15): Maintain accurate records of materials, batch information, and non-conformance processes, ensuring traceability and documentation integrity.
Continuous Improvement (10): Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for better quality control practices and assisting in resolving supplier and customer non-conformance issues.
Qualifications Required
Education: High school diploma
Valid Driver’s License
Experience: 1-3 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience in aerospace operations (FAR/EASA/TCCA Part 21, aerospace distributor), or equivalent experience in quality control systems
Skills: Familiarity with AS9100/AS9110/AS9120, First Article Inspection, and precision tooling (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and use of manual dexterity for various inspection tasks
Preferred
Experience with SAP and quality management systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to shift schedules, including a rotating “on-call” shift

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
