Interested in a career in aviation but dont have experience? This is the job for you! We are currently hiring entry-level aircraft inspectors - the perfect fit is anyone with 3+ years of mechanically-inclined work experience (could be automotive, HVAC, component assembly, etc.).
Description:
- Perform visual inspection and documentation for production of structural assemblies for B737 or B787 aircraft
- Inspect fuselage, wings, flaps, and tail assemblies
- Inspect holes, fasteners, gaps/shims, surface seals, and paint for accuracy, tolerance, and general workmanship
- Document all findings/reports on a company-provided tablet
- Candidates will have to do some climbing and crawling throughout the aircraft
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years of mechanical experience (automotive, HVAC, component assembly, etc.)
- Experience working in a team
- Tools are NOT required
Pay:
- $30/hr + mileage reimbursement for your drive to/from work
- Mileage is paid out at $0.67 per mile
Work Schedule:
- Must be open to two of the following: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift
- You will be assigned to 1 mandatory day of OT every other weekend
- If you do not want to work on the weekends, you can trade your weekend shift with other coworkers
- If you cannot get someone to trade with you, you will have to show up for your mandatory day of OT
