Aerotek is hiring for a Rotor Blade Technician in Broussard, LA for a long term employment opportunity with one of Aviations largest manufacturing
companies.
- Pay Rate: $20.00 - 25.00/hr (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)

- 2nd Shift (Will train on 1st and then move to 2nd)
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs on aircraft components in accordance with FAA and OEM requirements
- Rotor blade repair activities include sanding, cleaning, and blade specific maintenance
- Shipping and Receiving responsibilities of blades and components
- Employees will complete training in Blade Repair and Shipping and Receiving
Education:
- High school diploma or or Technical Certification/Diploma
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a blade tech, or experience working in field such as automotive or aircraft repair
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
- Knowledge of working on computers for documentation of work
- Attention to detail and follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain good eye-hand coordination
- Work well in a team oriented environment
- Prior blade repair experience and knowledge of all facets of blade repair preferred
- Prior aircraft or automotive experience may be a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Safely move parts and tools onto and off of the work areas
- Ability to use/manipulate objects – such as tools and parts – with a high degree of precision
- Safely access and/or work in all parts of the production floor; this may require the employee to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 LBS. on occasion
