Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
Performs such minor part-fitting operations as filing, sawing, de-burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming.
Required to be able to read schematics/blueprints of moderate complexity, engineering drawings and technical instructions.Safely perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft.Has working knowledge of SRM (Repair Station Manual) references..
Must meet the qualifications to obtain a SIDA badge.
Must have working knowledge and the ability to fabricate, repair, replace, or rebuild aircraft structures, repair parts, and special tools.
Heavy phase maintenance experience on other military aircraft types may be considered.
