PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
At the direction of the Sr. Manager, Customer Service Training & OAB Coordinator,
- Assist in developing training syllabus and courseware for hands-on On-the-Job training of technicians in MRO
- Be proficient in the use of tooling and equipment for maintenance tasks, and train/ mentor/ evaluate technicians learning new tasks.
- Knowledgeable in all basic maintenance tasks for current production aircraft.
- Provide experience based instruction to enhance training program to ensure new technicians have best practices and knowledge.
- Provide feedback to trainee management in professional and constructive manner.
- Document all training in required training database.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License or equivalent
- 10+ years hands on experience with Falcon aircraft maintenance
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate well with Quality departments
- Instructor experience or field technical representative experience a must.
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and well in both verbal and written medium.
- Proficiency with Dassault Maintenance Documentation (Field 6)
- High level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, or other popular software. -
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Coordination with Quality and Operations management to achieve necessary training for individuals
- Understand and coordinate Quality program processes, assist in measuring training effectiveness, and adapt training curriculum to meet shifting requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Will alternate between office environment, hangar floor, backshop, and flight line exposure. Must understand and be knowledgeable with all safety requirements in an aircraft environment. Occasional travel is required. Must be able to deal with extreme time constraints and changing objectives to ensure mission is met.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read or write French language a plus.
- Advanced Leadership and management skills preferred
- Experience as a training manager and instructor for FAA certificated facilities including repair stations.
