Senior Maintenance Controller – Boeing Aircraft
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Type: Full-Time, On-site

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Maintenance Controller to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations for Boeing aircraft. This role is responsible for ensuring the continued airworthiness and operational readiness of the fleet by managing maintenance events, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing expert guidance to maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations for Boeing aircraft, including B737, B747, B767, and B777.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel to resolve complex aircraft issues.
Monitor fleet status and collaborate with flight operations to minimize aircraft downtime.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and engineering departments to develop efficient repair solutions.
Approve and track deferrals under MEL/CDL procedures and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance actions, discrepancies, and operational impacts.
Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities to optimize fleet availability.
Analyze recurring maintenance trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance control during irregular operations and AOG situations.

Qualifications:

Airframe and Powerplant License required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the airline industry, preferably with wide-body aircraft.
Strong preference for Boeing or wide-body aircraft experience (737, 747, 767, 777)
2+ years in maintenance control (considered if no Boeing experience)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Collaboration, Value, and Passion while communicating with personnel and acting on behalf of the company.
Must have the ability to plan, organize, and administrate workloads
Ability to stay focused and work under pressure
Able to read wiring diagrams, structural repair manuals, maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogs.
Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Windows based computer software applications.
