As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. You will receive task cards, read blueprints, identify the tools needed, and perform repairs or installations as required. You will then submit your work for inspection. This role involves drilling, reaming, and riveting to close tolerance using standard and blind/pop rivets like HI-Loks. You will also perform basic fabrication, installation, and quality checks, including corrosion control, and fabricating and installing stringers and doublers.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft.
- Receive and interpret task cards and blueprints.
- Identify necessary tools and perform repairs or installations.
- Submit completed work for inspection.
- Drill, ream, and rivet to close tolerance using various rivets.
- Conduct basic fabrication, installation, and quality checks.
- Perform corrosion control and fabricate/install stringers and doublers.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of aircraft structural repair or fabrication experience.
- Ability to drill, ream, countersink, and rivet sheet metal working from blueprints.
- Must pass a basic structures fabrication test.
- Proficiency in using required tools such as Drill Motor, Countersink Cage/Microstop, Rivet Gun, Rivet Sets, 1/4" Ratchet and Sockets, Grinder, Machinists Scale/Rule, and Clecos.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- MRO experience is highly preferred but not required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44.00 - $52.00
