The Simulator Mechanic is expected to perform a wide range of mechanical activities such as assembly, installation, modification, repair, and alignment of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.u202Fu202F Including but not limited to computer cabinets, control linkages, throttle assemblies, consoles, aircraft sheet metal and fuselage components, electric and hydraulic motion system actuators.u202Fu202Fu202F

Install fasteners, rivets drills, taps, reams, countersinks, and spot faces bolt holes in parts, position and aligns parts based on the requirements specified on drawings, schematics and in work procedures.u202F
Qualifications and Education Requirementsu202Fu202F
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with other employees of the organization.u202F
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to figure percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.u202F
Must have a good knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical hand tools and be able to effectively use them (Hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and scales, pneumatic and electric drills, rivet guns, fastening tools such as clamps and clecos shop equipment such as drill presses, brakes, and shears etc.).u202F
