JOB TITLE: Sr. Aircraft Technician (A&P)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems.
Complete maintenance tasks within quoted or standard CMP times.
Provide direction for assigned technicians and promote high-quality standards.
Act as Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) in their absence.
Coordinate with Inspection to ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection requirements.
Complete work order sign-offs and paperwork accurately and timely.
Properly identify and store customer property and aircraft components.
Operate ground support and special equipment for component removal/installation.
Coordinate aircraft movements and assist with training new employees.
Support aircraft overhaul/repair coordination.
Use material tracking system to manage parts demand and labor charges.
Apply Lean initiatives to maintain clean, organized work areas.
Properly dispose of waste fuel, oil, fluids, and rags.
Support continuous improvement processes and equipment maintenance.
Assist with flight tests and aircraft certification as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
4 years of Aviation Maintenance experience, including 3 years with mid/large aircraft.
Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
Valid Drivers License required.
Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft.
Familiarity with technical reference materials (manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, etc.).
Knowledge of FAA regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
