Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic II to assemble and fit aircraft detail parts and structures using various tools, following blueprints, and maintaining quality standards.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic shop math

• Preferred Skills:

  • 1 year of related structural assembly experience
  • Experience with Solumina and Smarteam
  • Graduates of the Savannah Tech Aircraft Structures Technical Certificate Program may receive credit

• Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit detail parts using drilling and riveting tasks
  • Use portable riveting guns, pneumatic guns, drills, countersinks, files for structural assemblies
  • Follow blueprints, work orders for sequence of operations
  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assembly before final inspection
  • Keep accurate logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs
  • Align parts using jigs, clamps for precise assembly
  • Maintain clean work area supporting the companys 5S Program
  
  
  Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
