Summary: Seeking a Structural Mechanic III with expertise in structural assembly, sheetmetal fabrication, and aircraft component installation.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years related structural assembly experience
  • Skilled in close tolerance work and use of special tools
  • Ability to work with composite resins and materials
  • Metal fabrication (press brakes, shears, laser/plasma cutting)
  • Experience with hand tools (impact drivers, torque wrenches), hand bucking rivets
  • Read and comprehend basic documents and instructions

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Solumina and Smarteam
  • Q-stamp certification
  • On Aircraft experience
  • Experience with 3D Models

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts/structures; drilling/riveting operations
  • Perform sheetmetal layout, fabrication, installation on aircraft
  • Rivet structural members using required tools; remove fasteners without damage
  • Read work orders/blueprints to determine operation sequence; follow SOPs for adhesives/sealants/solvents
  • Maintain logs/records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
  • Align/assemble parts using jigs/fixtures; shape/form complex angles per specifications
  • Make repairs per DMT/MRR/PCO; perform rework to ensure conformity
  • Follow SOPs when operating ground support equipment
  
  
  Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
